Post-Workout Milkshake {Yep, Milkshake!}

As promised, we have a healthy ice cream idea for you [pause of shock].  That's right, healthy!  We've teamed up with our good friend Libby at Studio Sculpt Pilates to bring you two fantastic post-workout milkshakes.  That's right, a little Breyers ice cream after your next workout, what could be better?!? 

A recent study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition tells us that ice cream can promote a surge in insulin which will lessen post-workout protein breakdown.  Read more:

Without further ado, here are two of Libby's original Green Milkshake recipes.  Simply throw all of the ingredients in your blender and voila, you've got the perfect post-workout milkshake!

Antioxidant Overload!
3/4 cup Breyers No Sugar Added Vanilla

1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup pineapple
1 cup kale or spinach
3/4 cup of water


Post Workout Recovery Shake
2 Tbs Peanut Butter
1 Banana
2 Tbs of Ground Flax Seeds
3/4 cup of water
